1 WHAT IS IN
Warm Neutral wood tones: Think ash, walnut and sycamore.

English Cozy Cottage: This is a beautiful and welcoming style that can easily blend with the eclectic look. Colormelon says it best.

Interesting and Unexpected hardware: oversized hardware, mixed metals, aged brass and round knobs are all the rage!
Color Drenching: Color drenching is the use of the same color and close shades to that color all over your room. This often includes painting the crown and base the same color as the walls.

2. WHAT IS OUT
Bulky case goods that aren’t functional: We need our furniture to have both form and function. Storage please!
Matching sets: Matching sets to me look like a furniture showroom. Try to be more eclectic and find pieces that are similar but different. They can be similar and scale painted or stained the same color. Trust me it will be so much more interesting.
